There have been some recent requests for pictures of the house Heather and I are blessed to get to live in this summer, so here ya go! This is the house on the corner of the Trilla Road and 680 E South St in the metropolis of Trilla, IL on a beautiful late evening in June.

That is our trash barrel and paved driveway.
Take a look at our clothesline. Now we have a hammock here in the back!
Yes, we have a huge two car garage for our one car and one push mower that I'm borrowing from my dad. We have it made!
We have a living room that has another side as big as this one. It has two book shelves in it, and that is all. As you can see, this side holds a table, two chairs, a loveseat, a Cedar chest, and my guitar. We love it!
The dining portion of our house. I think the kitchen, dining area and one bathroom are the only things in this house that might actually fit us in size.
My beautiful wife makes use of our lovely kitchen.
Look! It's our knife block, our blender, our spice rack, and our tea kettle! I love those things.
This is the most special room in the house. This is actually a mural that has been painted on the wall of one of the bedrooms. I tried to get Heather to sleep in this room with me. It didn't work. I imagine someone like Jeff Black asking for that to be painted in his bedroom. Amazing. So that is short tour of The Manse. The dictionary defines the word manse as follows: the house occupied by a minister of a Presbyterian church. Most others would call it a parsonage. No, it's The Manse.
Later guys,
Matt

you have two tea kettles?
wow.
and how did you get those deer to stand so still for that picture. I mean, with that crazy pose you're doing, i figured it would have scared them off...that and the floating electrical outlet...
What a lovely view of nature you have in there!! Haha! I love it! What a great place to get started in. I think it might be a little freaky to wake up with a deer next to your head, though.
Let me know if you need an extension cord for that 3-light lamp in the front room. ;) See you soon!!!
Brad
FYI: Your name is a running joke at our camp now. Apparently you met some of my co-workers during a support raising effort (or something)...and apparently I got really excited that they mentioned your name...and apparently I kept saying "matt wallace" over and over (because what are the chances that you'd be at their church the weekend they were home?? CRAZY!!)...so, yeah...they make fun of me now. And it's all your fault. Just so you know.
I love that I go out of the country and come back you havent changed at all...your blog that is...
you'd make a great deer hunter...not many people can sneak up on animals while surfing in the woods!
