OK, so it's been almost 4 weeks since the wedding. 3 since returning from the honeymoon. Since then, things have been relatively calm and slow. Heather and I have had a chance to get away from what has normally been our insane pace of life.
That is over.
Tomorrow we go to Springfield for lunch. Saturday we're doing Father's Day with Bob Trammel. Sunday we leave for Tennessee with my family to be there until Wednesday morning when we return to speak at Newton Christian Church on Wednesday night. Thursday night we get to sleep at our home in Trilla. Friday morning we go to Springfield for Heather's participation in Amanda's wedding. Saturday is the wedding. Sunday I play at Central Baptist in Springfield. Sunday night I speak at Hidalgo back towards my home.
Break until Friday. Phew!
Friday go to Springfield to leave for Brad's Bachelor Party through Saturday. Heather stays at parents. Saturday we drive to Kentucky. Sunday morning I speak at RB's church. Sunday afternoon we start the week of speaking at the camp in Kentucky. Friday night and Saturday nightwe stay with RB. Sunday morning I speak in Kentucky. Sunday night I speak in Kentucky. Then we start our swing down through the Nashville area, speaking to churches about support. Then hopefully we return home at the last week of July and speak at a few more churches here in Illinois. Brad's wedding is July 29th weekend and we'll be in Springfield. August 5-9 we are at the Student Leadership Conference in Evansville. Maybe another week or two of churches in August. Then back to Florida.
And our calm life together is over.
What a rush!
Later guys,
Matt
