Just about a year and a week ago is when my friends surprised me with the iBook I have been using since then. It has been doing excellent, and still almost runs as great as it did then.
The iBook G4. Simple beauty. In less than 5 pounds. 12 inch display.
However, since I've had the iBook G4 for over a year, I decided to get a new computer. I know, I know, it's only been a year, and mine still runs great. Why would I get a new one already? Well, I just wanted one. And when you find out what a great deal this one was, you'll understand. A friend of mine in the office had a good one sitting around and he gave me a great deal on one. So this is what I'm working on now. Tell me what you think!
Oh, the Mac Classic. She runs like a dream. In just 16 pounds. 9 inch display.
It's amazing how far computers have come in a very short period of time. Thank goodness we don't have to work on these anymore!!
Later guys,
Matt
P.S. Post number 50!
*Update* Evidently people didn't realize I was kidding in this post. I don't use this computer, it's not really my computer at all. I thought most would realize that this computer is completely incapable of doing any of the work that we do now on computers. It's ok, I don't really have a new computer, and I still love my old one.

you are so spoiled---TWO MACS!!! old mac>PC all day everyday
haha, it's not actually mine, I guess I didn't ever say that, did I? Haha. He just brought it into the office to show me.
JR's grandma has one like that...little bigger. She's having trouble and can't find anyone that knows how to fix it!
I saw the photo... And I recognized it from high school - I wasn't sure that that's what it was, until I scrolled down, and saw "Mac Classic."
It would be neat to have one of those, to play around with.
As for the laptop issue... I was just reminding Jeff Black the other day (or night?) that Macs are better. You don't hear much about them getting infected by hacking, viruses, or spyware, do you?
I've had this Toshiba laptop since only the summer of 2004, and it has already frozen (literally!) once, right before the Presidential Inauguration, causing me to lose all my stuff... And now, it runs slow, and turns itself off suddenly, for no reason. Thankfully, I haven't lost any major papers and compositions as a result - so far - but if I do, I am going to be really pi....
I want another Mac!
