How wide, how long, how high, how deep

Hey guys, I realize my last 3 or 4 posts were a lot to sift through, and I apologize for that. I know people don't like to sit and read for 25 minutes on one blog when there are 15 others to check before you're finished. At the same time, this blog is as much for me as anything, and I needed to get it down to get a better handle on it too. And it just so happened that it took almost 3800 words. Sorry!

Anyway, my post today is no less "deep", but it will take less time to read.

I had these verses in my quiet time this morning. They are some of my favorite verses in the New Testament and over the last half of this year they have become the Wallace's prayer for you guys and all our other supporters. I'll just put the text in and leave the thinking to you guys.

Ephesians 3
Paul’s Prayer for Spiritual Growth
14 When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, 15 the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. 16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. 21 Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.

May you begin to comprehend how great His love really is. Have a great day.

Later guys,
Matt
