Barack for President?!

As many of you surely know, the Junior Senator from Illinois, Barack Obama, today announced he is running for president. It's hard to believe, but we're still over 20 months away from the 2008 Presidential Election, and things are already heating up. This could be an interesting race to watch! How expensive, how dirty, and how boring can things get this time around?

We have a hated national figure in Hilary running against an African American politician with almost no experience. Who wins?

Is there even a Republican running in this election?

Were any of you in Springfield to watch the announcement?

Later guys,
Matt

It will definitely be an interesting race...and an expensive one as well.

Let's also not forget that while the Titanic was built by professionals, the Arc was built by amateurs.

yeah, i was in Springfield...in my nice, warm, campus apartment...sorry, but it was stinkin' cold outside - ask your wife, she wouldn't have gone, either. ;) i did watch most of the speech live on the TV in my nice, climate-controlled, 70 degree house, though.
miss you guys loads...just had dinner with Misty, Tad, Hannah and John, so, of course, we talked about you, and, of course, i miss you even more. hope you're both well!
