LOST.
And believe me, we watch it with a passion.
Sure, there are other good shows on television. When nothing else is going on, we'll watch The Office (US), cause it's funny and we really enjoy it. A lot of times people are getting together around here to watch it together anyway, so we hang with them and watch. We like it. It's one of my favorites. Really. Then of course there are the Everybody Loves Raymond episodes that we'll watch at times. And Seinfeld reruns too. Those are classics.
But they in no way compares to Lost. I'm not sure an hour of my week can fly by faster than when we are watching Lost. And believe me, they have Heather and I tied in for good. They could do nearly anything they wanted to the show, and they would still have us sucked in.
So, tonight, we watched the Fall Finale of the show. I can't believe they did this. They drew us in to the show this fall and gave us 6 episodes. Then they go and say they'll be back in February. February 7th. That's three months away!! They're going to make us wait another 3 months!
But I'll lay down and wait. Because that's how tied in I am. I'll count down the days with Heather until that Tuesday in February, one day short of 3 months from today. Then it's back for 16 weeks straight. Oh man, I can't wait.
If you've not seen Lost yet, you have time in this 3 month wait to go rent Seasons 1 and 2, then ask around to see if anyone has recorded the first 6 episodes from this season. You can still catch up. Heather and I did. I believe in you.

Sure, the opening looks like a screen saver, but the story's amazing.
Later guys,
Matt

I'm proud to admit, I'm a fellow Lostie.
I never imagined this would be a show you'd enjoy. Ive been hooked since day 1, and haven't missed a show since. Cheryl, and Katie are also fellow Losties.
I will say however, I am rather disappointed with tonights Fall finale. Not HALF as "cliffhangerish" as I would have imagined. The ep. was informative, but nowhere near as good as many episodes of past. We did learn of a new person.."Jacob?" Hmm. I'm also glad Jack finally grew a pair and did something.
WHERE THE HECK IS PENNY?!?!
Herschel wont watch the show cause he knows he will get sucked in too, believe me, I've tried.
All I got for now.
i have a such an addictive personality that i cant allow myself to view this show....its sad
im already in too deep with the office...seriously...i check online message boards about it everyday....THE OFFICE!!!!
oh how sad the life of single men(me) and idiots(LOST fans)....
just kidding of course
I'm NOT addicted. But it's only because I purposefully avoid the show.
Unfortunately, my recent addiction isn't much better: Madden 07. My roommates play it daily and I've officially been sucked in.
TJ, I've heard good things about the show, inspite of it being sci-fi. Maybe, just maybe, if I had been on campus this semester, I would be enjoying it with you guys. But it was not to be.
Thanks for your comments guys. Good to see you're all addicted to something.
Since the very first episode I have not been able to stop watching. I download the Podcasts, I read that magazines, I scour the message boards. Isn't it great!
I remember when you and Heather lived in the manse and didn't have a tv. What happened to your to your "Who needs tv?" attitude? Psh. Sell out. But if this show is actually worth your time, maybe you'll have the chance to introduce it to your family, cause we're coming to visit in February! wOOT!
Well, to be honest, even now we dxon't need a TV. The show is broadcast on the Internet. It's even a clearer picture with fewer commercials than we get on the TV in our house.
So, we still don't need a TV. We use for almost nothing else anyway!
See you in February?!
