Earthquake!

Seriously? An earthquake in IL? I've always heard that we could have
one, but never really believed it would happen. And I missed it, by
only 3 weeks. What was it like? Was it obvious? Did you even wake up
from sleep?

That's wild!

Later guys,
M

I'm SO glad you're able to get online!!! I was cracking up about the whole water-cleansing festival...

Sarah and I both woke up and wondered if it was a storm....It only seemed to last 15 seconds or so...She was so excited that she could tell everyone she was in an earthquake!

If you have Flash, click on the pinpoint north of Indy on this map to see my interview with CNN :-P

PS - you should really try out Twitter.com. That would be awesome. Really awesome.

PPS - My grandpa isn't doing too well. Took a bad turn after his 5-bypass surgery Friday. Prayers appreciated!

Hope you are doing great.

Sorry you missed the quake...it was altogether confusing. I was at campus house working on a paper when it happened. My laptop started moving, but I just thought I had bumped the table or something. I heard the building kind of creak and thought it was the wind or so I got up and looked outside, but it was still. Weird. I think the whole experience was pretty confusing for everyone, irregardless of whether they were pulling all-nighters or not.

I keep trying to send you an email, but it's rejecting it for some reason. So...headsup.

Miss ya!

You know, being from the west coast it's basically no big...haha. Been praying for you and Heather! Hope things are going well for you and you're already picking up the language quickly.

I almost fell out of bed when it happened. Linds had to grab me to keep me (it didn't really help that I had been awakened by the rumbling).

Then, when I was at the high school later that day, there was an aftershock or something and the door started rattling and the students started freaking out. It was CRAZY. Naturally, all the students wanted to use the excuse to go home. :)

love you guys!
