It's about 2:45 in the afternoon (14:45 for Berliners) in Germany, and I heard the rain coming down hard. Suddenly I heard the rain stop, and I looked outside, and saw it. Finally, I saw snowfall. Oh the sweet relief on this Saturday afternoon in November!
So, I'm enjoying today. Even as it starts to get dark so early (It's completely dark by about 4:45), I'm in a good mood this afternoon. I made my first trip (alone) to the grocery store, will soon take the train with Heather to our friend's church, and we get to walk in the snow. It couldn't get better!
Pray for Heather as she is trying to adjust to the time difference. We start class Monday, and we need to be prepared!
Here are just a couple other pictures. One of a massive Lutheran church downtown, and the other of the Bible Study group that met in Ben and Jasmin's apartment Thursday night. It was a blast!
We miss you all, and love you!
Later guys,
Matt
*Correction: It's been since December of 2005 without snow, not February of 2005. That means it's been 23 months. Not quite the 32 I thought, but it sure feels like it!
