Hey guys, I really don't have a long time, but I wanted to tell you (from Asia) that Waterdeep's new CD is now available. Get it and tell me what you think! Go here!
I'm going to try to get it from here, but we'll see how possible that is.
Love you and miss you all!
Later guys,
Matt

that is great, but we all on this side of the world want to know how your mission is going!! glad there is a new cd but how are matthew & heather! love you!
I agree with Aunt Kathy. :)
I'll bite on this one ;)
Lori's voice is amazing! Is that really her in "Annie"?
the title track and "i can't sleep" continue to run around in my head. It takes me a while to process Chaffer's lyrics and they usually don't mean anything to me until I'm in a situation and all of the sudden I'm like "hey! there are some lyrics i heard about something kind of like this experience! Thanks (insert artist here)!" So lyrically...i can't say I've really worked through the things they're saying through the songs. I appreciated "i can't sleep" though and the line you mention in your next post from the title track. I was thinking about how words in general just limit what God really means and how we can never truly understand or nail down what exactly we're meaning to say/He's wanting us to know. Corinthians 13 has been a passage that has been really important to me this summer and seems to hit on this.
8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
So all in all I've really enjoyed it. As I listened to it the other day, I was wondering if you've attempted to cover any of them yet. I tried "i can't sleep" and it was a lot of fun to play. try it out!
love you man! I'm excited that God is preparing you and Heather for Myanmar and gave you an opportunity to spend time there.
later!
